A Kingdom for Keflings Review

Dec 8 2009

Xbox Live Arcade has seen many games from platformers of every kind to rehashing of old classics.  One kind of game it was missing in fact was the ever entertaining city building/management genre.  To the rescue comesNinjaBee with such a game.  However, leave it to them to add an interesting twist to the idea.  So does it live up to other classic NinjaBee games such as Cloning Clyde and Outpost Kaloki X?  Hit the break to find out.

Trials HD Review

Aug 16 2009

RedLynx is infamous for its Trials series.  This series started with web and PC games and evolved into what we have today, Trials HD.  The first games started out in two dimensions.  Only until now, has RedLynx made the big leap to the third dimension.  This caused them to scrap the old 2D physics engine and start fresh.  So does RedLynx release another winner with it's very first Xbox Live Arcade title (also scored a spot on the Summer of Arcade lineup) or does it crash and burn?

Chalked Review

Aug 7 2009

When first hearing about Chalked, I knew it would be a big hit.  Heroes and villains fighting over a city.  Villains blowing up buildings and heroes stopping the villians.  Complemented with a very excellent art style and some very interesting music.  With all these great ideas, surely Chalked is a pure success; or does Chalked leave disapointment?  Find out after the break.

When Pigs Fly Review

Aug 1 2009

It's the answer to all our childish questions:  When will the Vikings go to the Superbowl?  When will inflation stop?  When will Mic Jagger die?  When will Duke Nukem Forever get released?  When will the reviewing start? Simple.  When pigs fly.  Rather than it being the answer to all of our questions though, instead, When Pigs Fly is a cute little platformer that will keep you charmed.

Revenge of the Evil Aliens Review

Jun 23 2009

When I first came upon Revenge of the Evil Aliens I was on the marketplace.  I saw it and went to try the trial and thought it was enjoyable.  I then took the next brave step to spend 200 points on a game I thought was enjoyable at best (keep in mind these are my first impressions).  Now those first impressions have changed.  While Revenge of the Evil Aliens appears as a generic twin stick shooter at first, it opens up to be much more.

Lines Review

Jun 18 2009

We've all played tetris.  As one of the most innovative games to date, it has spawned many variations from Super Collapse to Lumines.  However, not very often does a variation of the "falling block puzzle" genre really change to the way we play it.  Rarely is there a puzzle game that serves to a hardcore gaming crowd and demands so much love.  There have been puzzle games that serve to all crowds like Meteos or just the plain stupid like so many web games.  However, this game does not.  Of course you must know the game I am speaking of (since you've read the review title), but if you don't then please let me introduce you to a game that is simple yet challenging.  This game is called Lines.
