The Rules! OBEY OR DIE!
June 23, 2009 - 16:34
1. Don't be an idiot.
- No leetspeaking in here. Plain English please.
- Don't be obnoxious and mean just because you can be. When people have a question and don't really know the answer, please tell them nicely. If it's a repeat thread, post the link to the other thread that it was covered in. A moderator will close it afterwards.
- When posting for the first time, please tell us something about you and give your introduction a purpose. Please try to include more than one sentence and let us get to know you so you can become part of the community.
2. Don't throw apples into the orange basket.
- Know where to post things. Each forum has a respective place for your post. Please post there and help keep the forums neat and orderly. Plus it will keep us from releasing the grumpy moderators from the caves that we keep them in.
- This isn't a fruit salad.
3. Keep it quality not quantity.
- We understand that you want to have the most points in the community and be at the top of the leader boards, however this can lead to spamming and causing those grumpy moderators to get after you. Please keep a quality to posts.
- Spamming will lead to IP banning.
- Nonquality posts will lead to a reset to your avatar on the leader boards. What defines a quality post is whether it is worth reading or not and whether there is an active topic of the same.
4. No flaming.
- Don't hate on people just because they have an odd question or just because you dislike them in general.
- Flaming leads to IP banning.
5. Keep it clean. Keep it non-emotional.
- There is no illegal activity allowed on these forums. Illegal activity includes Nudity/Porn (of any kind), Warez, Hacking Files, Cracks, Pirated Software, Viruses.
- Once again, this leads to IP banning.
- Drama is something we like to watch on TV however do not by any circumstances try to cause any drama. Otherwise we will happily ban you.
6. Promote your website else where.
- Don't tell us about your new website that needs new members. If you end up being the next big thing, we don't care.
- This is also known as spamming.
