Halfbrick Blastoff Soundtrack Avaliable Now

To celebrate the new year, Halfbrick, has released the soundtrack to their ever popular game Halfbrick Blastoff.  Best of all, the soundtrack is free!  Halfbrick is the developer of the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade game Raskulls and several Xbox Live Indie Games and PSP Go games.  Halfbrick Blastoff is avaliable for both Xbox Live Indie Games and the PSP Go.

2010 Independent Games Festival Finalists

The finalists for the main competition of the Independent Games Festival have been announced.  All the titles are pretty great looking and while Indie Tank won't be covering the event, we do look forward to hearing the results.  Winners after the break.

NinjaBee Releasing New Avatar Game

Today, according to their blog, NinjaBee will be releasing another avatar game in 2010. However, this new game isn't Ancients of Ooga, the spiritual successor to Cloning Clyde announced just this fall.  It is instead an entirely new game directed towards the Xbox avatars.  Each week in January, NinjaBee also plans to release concept art work hinting at what the game could possibly be about.  More info about the project after the break!

A Kingdom for Keflings DLC Priced and Previewed

NinjaBee has released both the price and a video of the new downloadable content for A Kingdom for Keflings.  The new DLC will be avaliable December 9, aka tomorrow, for 160 Microsft points a piece.  That seems like a great deal for two maps a DLC pack.  The content also introduces a new feature to the game.  Will you be picking it up?  Hit the jump for the trailer.

Kingdoms for Keflings Gets Some Downloadable Action

Well, if you haven't gotten into A Kingdom for Keflings yet, I am saddened.  I urge you to go download it ASAP.  If you do own a copy of the game and enjoyed it, then you will be happy to know that some downloadable content is coming out for it.  The first set is called Kingdom Pack 1 which adds two new kingdoms to the game called the Orchard Kingdom and Kingdom Crossroads.  The ever cleverly titled Kingdom Pack 2 adds another two called Relic Kingdom and Central Kingom.  Kingdom Pack 2 is thought to be for more advanced players.  The content will be avaliable December 9th.  Images and press release after the break.

Metroid Inspires Game That Has Chance

Intuition Games is making a game, Liferaft, that appears to be heavily influenced by Metroid.  The game isn't going to be a clone or anything but looks to be set in some Metroidvania style gameplay.  The artwork does, by the looks of it, have some Metroid styling influence as well.  It looks very fun.  More after the break!

One of the nice things about Xbox LIVE Indie Games is their price. Even better? They keep getting cheaper. Case in point,  Weapon of Choice from Mommy's Best Games. It's one of the more popular Indie Games out there and it used to cost just 400 Microsoft Points. But now, the game's price has been reduced to 240 Microsoft Points!
